CCF Online Portal: Revision Application Guide

Short answer

Since 26 March 2026, CCF requests, including revisions, go through the Commission's dedicated online portal, reached from the official INTERPOL website. A revision starts with one document: a two-page summary of the newly discovered fact(s). The CCF may ask for more after its initial review. This guide is independent and is not a filing portal.

Begin with the official INTERPOL website

Use the official CCF page to reach the current portal and guidance: How to submit a request. Requests sent by email or post are no longer accepted, except where the Commission finds exceptional circumstances. Do not submit sensitive documents to imitation websites, including this informational one.

Confirm the correct application type

The portal distinguishes requests for access, for correction or deletion, and for revision of a Commission decision. A revision request is governed by Article 42 and needs specific newly discovered factual material.

The initial two-page summary

The CCF's March 2026 portal guidance (section 10.3) says it is mandatory to communicate at least one newly discovered fact, and that at the first step the submitter may attach only one document: a two-page summary succinctly describing the newly discovered fact(s). After its initial review the CCF may request further documents. A summary of arguments of up to ten pages may be provided at that later stage, not before.

A useful summary addresses five points:

  1. The fact

A precise, neutral statement of what has been newly discovered.

  2. Discovery date

When it first became known to the applicant.

  3. Earlier position

Whether and how the fact was absent from the earlier CCF examination.

  4. Materiality

Why it could have affected the earlier conclusion under INTERPOL's rules.

  5. Source

How the fact is supported and can be authenticated.

What not to do

  • Do not treat a fresh legal opinion as a new fact.
  • Do not submit on a public or unofficial platform.
  • Do not rely on email to the CCF instead of the portal under the current rules.
  • Do not upload video or audio: INTERPOL lists accepted formats (pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, jpg, jpeg, png, gif).
  • Do not contact CCF members directly. INTERPOL states such correspondence will not be considered.

Privacy and authorisation

Applicants can act directly or through an authorised representative under the portal's requirements. Keep your submission confirmation and secure your account credentials. Do not share portal credentials with anyone who is not authorised.

FAQs

Is this website an official portal?

No. The only authoritative route is the one provided on INTERPOL's own website.

Can I attach my entire dossier at once?

No. The March 2026 guidance describes a single two-page summary first, with further material on request. Follow the guidance shown in the live portal.

Does a portal submission guarantee acceptance?

No. Admissibility and the revision conditions still apply.

Start with the decision you have

If your CCF application was refused, do not assume a second filing can simply repeat what has already been considered. A confidential assessment can identify whether a new factual basis appears to exist.
